NCCC for Individuals

US citizen or lawful permanent resident, 17 years of age
-seeking hands-on work in one of the following areas:
  • clearing trails
  • disaster relief

-looking to relocate and travel during your service term

-willing to live in a dorm
excited about living and working with a close-knit team

JobCorps
16-24 years old, low-income, have yet to receive high school diploma
provides opportunity to gain experience needed to begin a career or advance to higher education.  Sample of job skills covered include: brick masonry, carpentry, cement masonry, culinary arts, heavy equipment mechanic, welding.

Available for 10 month stint, 17 -24 years old, high school diploma or GED recipient, U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident alien
City Year corps members serve full-time at one of 25 locations across the United States as tutors and mentors, running after-school programs and leading youth leadership programs.
